The morning round presented testing conditions, with the hint of rain throughout. Blair Murdock lead the field with a 2 under round 70. The former Bay Representative and current manager of the team was in superb form. Victor Janin came in with a 1 over 73 and a host of players on 3 over 75. The intermediate section was headed by Barry Bettelheim and Danny De Lore with 80’s and the junior section was stunned with Ben Miller shooting a fantastic round 78.
The final 18 holes produced some fantastic results, most notably Jordan Rangihika shooting a tournament best 4 under 68 to take out the senior division over morning leader Blair Murdock and Brett Taylor. The intermediate was all tied up over 36 holes with a sudden death playoff which lasted 3 holes won by Anthony Palmer over Barry Howe.  Miller held onto his lead to take out the junior division.
